Terms of Service
Last updated 20 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Clarity, operated by Techna Company Limited (“Techna”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
What Clarity is — and isn’t
Clarity helps you prepare for negotiations: it structures a case, simulates a counterpart, weighs strategy and drafts messages. It is decision support, not legal, financial or medical advice, and it does not create a professional-client relationship. Outputs can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing them and for what you decide, sign or send. Clarity never sends, signs or commits anything on your behalf.
Your account
You must provide a real, verified email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you put in and of the outputs generated for you. You grant Techna a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the service for you. You confirm you have the right to submit the documents you upload and that doing so does not breach confidentiality obligations you owe others.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, and no use to deceive, defraud or harass a counterpart.
- No attempts to probe, overload or bypass the service’s limits or security.
- No reselling or automated bulk use without written agreement.
Plans, billing and limits
The free plan includes a limited number of runs per month. Team seats are billed monthly through Stripe and renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time from the billing portal and keep access to the end of the paid period. The optional success-fee feature only records a suggested amount — nothing is charged without your explicit confirmation. We may adjust limits to protect the service.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To that extent, Techna is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using Clarity’s output, and total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending things
You can delete your account and data at any time from the workspace. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. Sections that by nature should survive (ownership, liability limits) do.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be dated above and notified to account holders.
