Privacy Policy

Clarity is operated by Techna Company Limited (“Techna”). Negotiations are sensitive, so this page says plainly what we hold, who processes it, and how you can remove it.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, the identity Google provides.
• Your content: cases, goals, constraints, documents you paste or upload, playbook notes, and outcomes you report.
• Generated output: the analyses, simulations, strategies and drafts Clarity produces for you, and an audit trail of approvals.
• Instant checks: the text you paste is analysed in memory and not stored. We keep the result — a score, the findings and the short clause quotes shown on it — behind an unguessable private link for 30 days, then it is deleted automatically. Whoever ran the check can delete it sooner. To limit abuse we keep a count of checks per day against your account or a salted hash of your IP address, never the raw address.
• Contact messages: anything you send through the contact form (name, email, topic, message), kept so we can reply.
• Operational data: request logs (path, status, timing, request ID) and error reports. We do not log document text.
• Usage analytics: pages visited, via Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics). No document text or case content is sent to it.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We keep your subscription status and Stripe customer ID, never your card number.

How we use it

To run the product for you: to authenticate you, to generate the outputs you request, to enforce plan limits, to bill you, and to keep the service secure and reliable. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

AI processing

To generate analyses, the relevant parts of your case and documents are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API. We use the API, under which inputs are not used to train Anthropic’s models by default. The free instant check makes no model call at all. When the service runs without a model connection, deterministic sample outputs are used and nothing is sent to a model provider.

Where it lives, and who else touches it

• Google Cloud (Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Run) — account and case data, hosted in the United States.
• Google Analytics — aggregate page-visit statistics. We do not use it for ad personalization.
• Vercel — serves the website.
• Anthropic — model processing, as above.
• Stripe — payments.
• Sentry, if enabled — error reports without personal content.

Your controls

From the workspace you can export everything we hold about you as JSON and permanently delete your cases, documents, playbooks, runs and account. Deletion is immediate in our primary store; routine infrastructure backups age out on their normal cycle.

Retention

We keep your content until you delete it or delete your account. Billing records may be kept as required for tax and accounting.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way we will update the date above and notify account holders.
